Laughing away Pain

Research shows that when you laugh, it reduces pain in your body, by increasing endorphins (and other healing neurochemistry).

With daily laughter, you can greatly reduce and diminish pain in your body with some simple techniques.

Laughter yoga has exercises where you practice intentional laughter for 10-15 min a day, which I’ve been implementing with patients (with great results).

Your body can’t tell the difference between real or intentional laughter, so by choosing to laugh, you will flood your body with feel good, healing chemistry.

I tried it out for myself last year, and made the commitment to laugh daily for 2023. And wow, has that been a GREAT decision! I feel so light and carefree, just like I did as a kid.

Laughing also strengthens your immune system, regulates your blood glucose, reduces stress hormones, and creates a feeling of joy and lightness in your everyday life.
